Why Repurpose?

Weddings are equal parts magic and logistics; couples today work tirelessly to authentically celebrate their union while being mindful of their impact on our planet. One question couples constantly face is; what happens after? Finding a way to allow your wedding to reach beyond that one day and to spread your love, joy, and generosity to others is at the heart of Repurpose Flower Co. Using your wedding flowers to create stunning arrangements, Repurpose Flower Co. helps couples give back in a tangible and meaningful way.

Meet Chelsea

Chelsea is the daughter of an entrepreneur with a passion for helping others and her community. Her years of working in theatre and film have taught her to look at the bigger picture. She sees Repurpose Flower Co. as a missing piece in the industry and an opportunity for couples to add a sweet, finishing, long-lasting touch to any wedding day.

‘Working as a wedding gown stylist at Urban Set Bride, I constantly hear about both the beauty and stressors of planning a wedding. And as a wedding assistant with the Hive Wedding Collective, I have witnessed thousands of dollars in wedding flowers being thrown away after each event. Your wedding is an investment of time, resources, and your energy; I want to honor that by sharing these items with others and bringing a little light to those who need it.’

Meet Lindsay

Lindsay’s passion for philanthropy, volunteerism and uplifting those in need led her to start Repurpose in early 2020. As an experienced wedding planner, she saw the large amount of floral waste within the industry and wanted to do her part to mitigate that issue while bringing warmth to organizations that deserve it.

As Lindsay transitions to her next endeavors, she is excited to pass Repurpose over to Chelsea to continue this important work.
